1. Overview
HR Innovate Hub is headquartered in British Columbia, Canada, and is committed to full compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), S.C. 2010, c. 23, as well as applicable anti-spam regulations in other jurisdictions where we operate, including the CAN-SPAM Act (United States), GDPR (European Union), and the Spam Act 2003 (Australia).
This policy governs all commercial electronic messages (CEMs) sent by or on behalf of HR Innovate Hub.
2. What Is a Commercial Electronic Message (CEM)
Under CASL, a CEM is any electronic message (email, SMS, or other electronic means) that encourages participation in a commercial activity, including messages that promote or offer services, products, or business opportunities. HR Innovate Hub sends CEMs in connection with our talent acquisition, HR consulting, and advisory services.
3. Consent
HR Innovate Hub will only send CEMs to individuals who have provided express or implied consent as defined under CASL:
- Express consent: You have explicitly agreed to receive commercial messages from us, typically by submitting a contact form, signing an engagement agreement, or opting in to communications
- Implied consent: You have an existing business relationship with us (e.g., as a current or recent client or candidate), or you have published your contact information in a public directory in a context that suggests openness to business contact
We do not purchase, rent, or use third-party email lists for unsolicited outreach.
4. Message Identification
All CEMs sent by HR Innovate Hub will clearly identify HR Innovate Hub (and/or The Talent Care Group) as the sender, include our valid mailing address, and provide a functional unsubscribe mechanism. We will not use misleading subject lines or sender information.
5. Unsubscribe / Opt-Out
Every CEM we send includes a clear and easy mechanism to unsubscribe. Unsubscribe requests will be processed within 10 business days as required under CASL. Once you opt out, we will cease sending CEMs to that address and update our records accordingly. Opt-out from marketing communications does not affect transactional messages related to active service engagements.
6. Candidate Outreach
When HR Innovate Hub contacts candidates as part of talent acquisition activities, we do so on the basis of implied consent (publicly available professional profiles such as LinkedIn) or express consent (where the candidate has registered interest). All such outreach is relevant to the candidate's professional background and the specific opportunity at hand.
7. Reporting Spam
If you believe you have received an unsolicited message from HR Innovate Hub in violation of this policy, please contact us immediately at info@hrinnovatehub.com. You may also report spam to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) at fightspam.gc.ca.
